Scuba Diving Classes
in Chicago
We believe in putting in the hard work. The word Kung Fu in Chinese means any study, learning, or practice that requires patience, energy, and time to complete, not necessarily the Martial Art. This is why we are Kung Fu Divers!
In order to help Scuba Divers continue their practice, we invest our time and energy on the training and expect our students to apply the hard work as well.
We share the love, care and respect for the oceans so we devote time to educational and environmental programs: ocean awareness, waterways conservation, preservation and reconstruction, marine biology, sustainability of resources, and volunteering.
We host "Kung Fu Divers Drills" once a month for Professionals and Recreational Divers who want to focus on training and mastery of the skills learned during their certifications. To become the best diver you can be, you have to practice!
Have Kung Fu Divers help you understand Pearl Lake so that you can better enjoy your dive adventure.
We orient you to the lake’s conditions and environment, describe the aquatic life you will see and how to interact responsibly, and show you points of interest like the school bus, the submarine and several small sunken boats.
You may choose to discover new aspects of this site or gain confidence and experience as a diver.
Our one tank tour is chilled and safe for all levels of certified divers, and you are welcome to stay by the water for a BBQ or a picnic afterwards in one of their gazebos, surrounded by nature and in company of other divers.
We will spend time before and after the dive to talk about the latest safety bulletins, gear, and skills fundamentals, all with the intent to help you be a better diver.
$120 per diver- Includes weights

At Kung Fu Divers, we practice the skills you've learned through your certifications every month. It is easy to forget them if you don't train them!
This summer we are focusing on skills from the PADI Rescue Diver Course. Gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way and discover why countless divers say Rescue Diver is their favorite scuba course.
We are committed to making you a great diver and want to open the doors for other opportunities in your training.
Turning a potential emergency into a simple inconvenience is a matter of preparation, this is why we emphasize the continuous practice of the skills.
We incorporate breathing techniques to promote mindfulness and calmness, inspired by the Shaolin training- we know that a good diver also needs to train their mind for safety and proper reaction under stress!
We like to share safety tips, updates in our contiunuous education, experiences with our students and a bit about ourselves.
Join our newsletter to get to know Kung Fu Divers and us as people too!
